In effort to spice things up a little here at Noise ‘n’ Visuals, we have decided to add a new segment across not just our social media but on the site as well.
Five Fresh For Your Friday scans the week for five new tracks to drop throughout the Asia Pacific region.
This week, Australia really did bring in the heat. So in no particular order, here is 5 tracks to add to your playlist.
5. GRAVES- Reapers Pull feat. Bobak Rafiee
It may have been a long time between dances, but the lads from GRAVES have returned in a big way. In their first drop since 2016, Reapers Pull is aggressive, heavy and just everything we want from them. The feature of Bobak Rafiee from Justice For The Damned is an absolute cherry on top on what is just a stellar track.
4. GRAVES- Tooth & Nail
No you aren’t seeing double. Not only did we get treated with Reapers Pull, but we got a second track within a day of each other. Saturated with an almost angsty desperation, the track is bass heavy and smacks you in the face. The fellas from Wollongong really know how to throw a comeback party, especially in the lead up to their national Australian tour that starts later this month.
3. 花冷え。 (Hanabie.)- GIRL’S TALK
Our Queens of metalcore, the pioneers Harajukucore have given us another anthem. Combining their cutesy vocal stylings and image with ruthless aggression, Hanabie. truly are a treasure. Girl’s Talk is fun, but also seeped in double meanings- just like how it sounds.
2. ASK I FALL– Poisoned Love
The multinational background metalcore band based in Tokyo has busy lately. This new one will get the seal of approval of the old school emo kids, with it’s groovy bass lines that would make Escape The Fate proud. Make sure you check out Ask I Fall as they are constantly busy.
1. PINCER+- Pulling Strings
While all the other bands gave us a little tease before dropping new music, this one came out of absolutely nowhere. The Perth metalcore band pulled a fast one on us, dropping this absolute masterpiece with no hype whatsoever. No hype was needed though, as everything Pincer+ does is gold. We did say in no specific order, but there is no way this track isn’t the number one metalcore track to be dropped in the Asia Pacific region this week. (In our opinion)
