One of the most formidable names in Japanese metalcore Crystal Lake have been keeping themselves busy this year on the live front, but we know now that they have also been cooking in the studio. In addition to announcing their signing to Century Media Records, the band have dropped a tasty collaboration with Taylor Barber of Left To Suffer, ‘BlüdGod‘.

The track marks the third release with singer John Centorrino, who has been cutting his teeth with the band touring relentlessly. Proving that he was the right choice to take the band forward, this current line-up of Crystal Lake are gearing up to prove that they are ready to step into a new chapter, teasing a new album that is set to come out in 2025.

BlüdGod‘ is a reassurance that Crystal Lake, despite claiming to be entering a new phase, is still staying true to their roots. It’s heavy. It’s relentless. It’s furious. A mood and vibe that is only furthered by the addition of Taylor Barber’s vocals. Drummer Gaku Taura proving again that he is not human, with the brutality of his drumming being the driving force of the track. As the band leans further into their heavy side, capturing the energy of their live performances- it’s safe to say their next album is going to be highly anticipated.
