It has been a minute since Filipino modern metalcore outfit LOSTTHREADS have dropped new music, but this month the Manila heavyweights are back with a new single. ‘Detached’, which dropped at the beginning of this month, marks the bands first release since their 2018 album ‘Aftermath’.

LOSTTHREADS first made their presence felt in 2014, releasing their independently produced debut record ‘Wake Up Your God’. Pioneers of the Manila heavy music scene, their distinct sound allowed them to establish a reputation unlike any other band before them, earning them appearances at numerous shows and festivals across the Philippines. These include Pulp Summer Slam and Wacken Metal Battle Philippines.

With ‘Detached‘ quintet are ready to re-emerge and reintroduce themselves. As the scene has grown and progressed, the band knows they must also evolve and they have risen to the challenge. Taking their already dynamic and fresh sound to new heights, the single combines both raw and furious energies with technical prowess. Harnessing the power of modern metalcore and putting their own stamp on it, this return release for LOSTTHREADS is definitely worth the hype.
