Hailing from Adelaide/Tarntanya, alternative metal outfit Heartline have been making waves since their debut in 2019. Well the work never stops and the band have not only announced they will be dropping their new EP ‘Pink Lemonade‘ on August 16 but they have given us another bit of taste of it by releasing their brand new single of the same name.

The track embodies elements of the bands journey, inspired by the hard work and dedication that is needed to create opportunities for success.

“It’s about throwing all sense of entitlement to the wind and realising that it doesn’t matter what we feel we deserve, it’s down to us to work hard and make it happen,” explains vocalist Luke Taylor.

“I was so inspired after our first tour, I just wanted more and more of it and I came to the realisation that offers aren’t just going to get thrown our way – we can’t just sit and wait for things to fall in our lap. If you want something bad enough, you have to go out and make it happen.”

With production from Sam Trott (Rogue Half) with a mix and master by Nick Sjogren (Thornhill), the latest single is a digital fusion of pop and metal. Taking us in and out of expansive EDM soundscapes and full bodied choruses. Powered forward by grinding guitars and rhythmic bass, it shows how the band has continuously dedicated themselves to pushing the limits of there musicianship.
