If you ever need proof of the popularity of Crossfaith in Japan, then tonight’s activities provides just that. After teasing since the beginning of the year, Crossfaith have announced a two-day event in February 2024: ‘OUR FAITH WILL NEVER DIE & HYPER PLANET 2025′.

Taking place on February 1st & 2nd at Makuhari Messe 7・8 Hall, the festivities kick off with special ONE MAN LIVE dubbed ‘OUR FAITH WILL NEVER DIE’– which will be one of their biggest shows to date. Following the One Man will be ‘HYPER PLANET 2025′, a festival featuring bands, announced at a later date, selected by the Japanese metalcore pioneers.

Coming off their extensive Japan tour, the band has made a consistent effort on the return from hiatus in 2024 to support the Japanese scene, only leaving the country so far to tour Australia and play Hammersonic in Indonesia. This scene cultivation has obviously paid off, with demand for tickets being so strong it caused the ticketing website to crash upon launching.

Never one to do anything by halves, along with releasing the first round of tickets for this monumental event, the band also dropped the music video for their track ‘My Own Salvation’. Featuring a prominent fusion of tribal drumming, futuristic samples and modern metalcore conventions, the track has proven to be popular amongst fans. The music video is explosive, fiery and in true Crossfaith fashion, a complete feast of the senses. It was the perfect distraction for fans to consume while they waited for the ticketing website to reload.
