Crossfaith broke the internet last night by dropping the line-up for their much-anticipated HYPER PLANET FESTIVAL in February. The two day festival, which runs over the first weekend of February at the iconic Makuhari Messe venue in Tokyo, includes the bands biggest one-man show ever in their history on the Saturday and follows up with an absolutely stacked day of bands on the Sunday. Oh and of course, an offical after party at Shibuya’s Club Asia.

The line-up includes legendary bands  Underoath and Enter Shikari. Other international guests joining them are Wargasm (UK) and Venezuelan DJ Zardonic. The Japanese acts on the bill are no less iconic: Maxium The Hormone, coldrain., SiM, Paledusk, Age Factory, Enth., Sable Hills and one the most talked about underground bands View From The Soyuz. It’s not just metal too, with Japanese rappers Ralph and Jin Dogg also making an appearance. Of course, the band themselves will be headlining and with many of these artists featuring on Crossfaith’s tracks over the years- it is sure to be one heck of an event.

Oh, and this apparently not even the full line-up.

Frontman Kenta Koie has been talking about this festival since early this year and for good reason.

2024 was comeback and it seems 2025 will be the year that the leaders of Japanese metalcore take over.

If you would like to witness Japanese metalcore history in the making, tickets are available here.
