Earlier this month we shared the date’s for this years Spring Bloodaxe Festival, well the line-up has dropped and oh boy- book your flights to Tokyo now!

Bloodaxe Festival, a two-time a year heavy music festival that is a mainstay on Japan’s music calendar is getting bigger with every year- with this Spring one the biggest yet. Headlining is Canada’s favourite metalcore act Counterparts along with US heavyweights Kublai Khan TX. Joining them also from the US is Dying Wish and Belgium’s ARKANGEL. 

And for the Japanese bands? Well of course hardcore kings Loyal To The Grave and legends NUMB. You can also look forward to some truly wild sets from bands Gates Of The Hopeless, View From The Soyuz, PROMPTS, Otus, C-Gate, ReVERSE BOYZ, STRANDED and STAINED.

All of this insanity is going down on May 31st at Kawasaki’s Club Citta, which is a short train ride from Tokyo/Shibuya areas. There is also a multitude of side shows/tours that will be announced in the coming months- so keep an eye out for that one.

So if you are a heavy music fan and are planning a Japan trip- this is the time to do so!
