Okay- so we are a little late, but a lot has happened in the last week when it comes to new metalcore/hardcore- and everything in between.

So it took a little more time than normal to collate these absolute bangers.

Here are some of the new releases we have been switching between this week.

District 105- A Broken Symbol
One of our go to bands from Vietnam have done it again, dropping a new EP and with it their new single ‘A Broken Symbol’. When we say they’ve knocked it out the park- let’s just say they are basically the Shohei Otani of metalcore. Don’t just take our word for it, check it out yourself.

Defying Decay- Hide & Seek
On the opposite end of the spectrum of heavy music, but no less impressive, Thailand’s Defying Decay have brought into the world ‘Hide & Seek’. While not ‘core’ persay, everyone of us elder emo kids can appreciate this stunning ballad.

DAWNVISION- Consequences
Let us hook you up with a band from Japan that may not be on your radar yet. DAWNVISION have a classic metalcore sounds. Fast and furious rhythm section, riffs upon riffs and that perfect blend of harsh and clean vocals. They have dropped a new album The Quiet March and this is the lead single.

Bloodywood- Tadka
Okay, this single came out a month ago- but Bloodywood‘s new album Nu Delhi is finally out, so if you haven’t checked them out. Leading the charge of Indian metal, this nu-metal infused fusion metalcore band does not know how to NOT write a song that isn’t an ear worm. Catchy but always carrying a heavy message, if you are yet to check out Bloodywood– now is the time.

coldrain. – Incomplete
Speaking of bangers and earworms, coldrain. have done it again with their latest single ‘Incomplete’. Somebody let guitarists Sugi and Y.K.C off the leash, because the riffs and breakdowns are some of their best work in years. A perfect way to announce their signing to Century Media Records– so we are very curious to see what’s next for the Japanese metalcore mainstays. No music video yet, but from their snippets on Instagram- we are sure that it will be coming soon. In the meantime, give it a listen and take in every single bit of excellence.
