How are we almost at the end of May already?

Well- we are and we have some new noise to share with you. Some we kind of missed and wanted to circle back, others super fresh. There is a little theme of some intense visuals and a little nu-metal and/or deathcore nuance, making this weeks lineup of singles some of the most interesting yet.

So here are some tunes to add to your playlist.

Melancolia- ALL_IS_RUST
There is just something special about this Aussie act and they continue to prove it with their new single. ‘ALL_IS_RUST‘ serves as both a declaration of evolution and a warning: this band are not here to follow trends, rather they’re here to dismantle them. The new track blends metalcore, deathcore, industrial noise, blast beats and DJ scratching into a hellish sonic cocktail.

DEXCORE- TRACE
We love us some visual metalcore here at NNV and Dexcore is just one of those bands who truly bridges the gap between your standard metalcore and visual kei. Really leaning into those core conventions and once again delivering some ridiculously heavy breakdowns, the Japanese band are once again proving again with ‘Trace’ why they are one of the hottest young acts in the scene.

ESCAPIST- Eclipse Red
It’s a little bit nu-metalcore and a little bit modern metalcore, but either way it leans- it hits hard! The band from Malaysia are new to the scene, but already putting out some absolute heat. If this first single is anything to go buy, we are very much excited to see where they go from here.

Teresa- Roll 9 Deep
If you asked us to pick one of our favourite upcoming acts from Thailand, than Teresa would be extremely high on this list. Giving us some absolute fire every time they drop something new- once again we are not disappointed. Some sick as hell squeals, crazy vocal versatility and audio bedlam unlike you’ve heard before. This track leans into some more hardcore sensibilities but is still so inherently modern deathcore.

Moth In Lilac- Inside A Dream
A veteran from Japan in a new iteration, the latest version of Moth In Lilac is a force to be reckoned with. With a multi-national lineup, giving us love in Japanese, Thai and English- we know we will be seeing this band around a lot in the future. Their first single with this lineup ‘Inside A Dream’ is a unique blend of gothic metal and metalcore. Raw, pretty and heavy- a band that you have to keep an eye on.
