If you have been sleeping on New Zealand’s heavy music scene, then you are missing out. So to get you up to speed, let us tell you about NZ’s Brainwave.

The band have just dropped a new single, ‘Ill Intent’ featuring another Luke Manson, the frontman of another prominent NZ hardcore act Xile. This fast and furious single is drenched in aggressive vibes, channelling vocally a more ferocious sound while delivering that classic thrashy feel.

That’s not all from the hardcore mainstays. They have also announced that an album with the same name is on the horizon, dropping in Spring of this year (remember that’s Southern Hemisphere Spring). It will also feature two of the singles already dropped, ‘Another Foe’ and ‘The Truth’.
