It’s the first day of June BUT that does not mean we are finished with May!

This week had some bite to it, with every band and their dog dropping some new music.

Without further ado, here are the tracks to wrap up your month!

KNOSIS- DOKUNUMA
This one came out of nowhere- but we are not mad! A chance of pace from their previous single- still, it packs a punch! With an insanely catchy melody and a real fun sing-a-long section, when KNOSIS played this song on their recent Australian tour it got stuck in everybody’s head. And that breakdown? Heavy as hell. Another preview off their upcoming album, this sleeper hit is sure to stand the test of time.

Akira Slide- Incisor
The debut single from an upcoming South Australian band, again this is another catchy ear-worm. The post-hardcore band are hitting deep into concept territory and it is a strong start from the new kids on the block. Groovy as hell guitar riff, sultry vocals and just an overall hypnotic vibe, we know you will be grooving along.

Lilith- INSANITARIUM
A little old school, a little fun, Lilith from the Philippines ensures that riffing is not a lost art in metalcore. This new track with a stunning music video may be your first introduction to this band but we hope you stay acquainted. With epic and cinematic enhancements to what is a simple but effective compositions, make sure you check this band out now.

Sakura- To The Depths
A band that has been putting out some unrelenting modern metalcore, Aussie act Sakura may have flown under a few radars but not ours! We are getting right around this straight in the feels tracks. Channelling the prettiness of a lot of modern prog-infused metalcore bands, this is a song you will find slipping onto your playlist.

Hanabie.- Spicy Queen
Our Harajuku-core queens are back with one of their hottest releases yet! ‘Spicy Queen’ shows another edge, both visually and sonically, of the Japanese metalcore mainstays- proving their versatility beyond that kawaii girl image. Yukina is ferocious as always and the instrumentation gives a real feel for that nostalgic chaotic style Japanese heavy rock many of us grew up with.

If we don’t have it on the list, we may just be covering it in an album/EP review coming up over the next week. There were a lot of full-length releases dropped at the end of the month so we want to give them all some equal love.

Or it means we have missed it and it is your sign to send those tracks in! Remember if your band is dropping music soon, let us know. Send your details, the track and all relevant information to noisenvisuals@gmail.com so we can have it on our radar.

Also- help us out as we are on the road to trying to hit 1k followers on our Instagram Page. We will be doing a giveaway once we do. You can find us here.

So spread the word, so we can keep spreading the word about the Asia Pacific Metalcore scene.
