You take your eyes off the ball for a second and then you miss a bunch of new releases.

Well lucky we are on a recon mission and we are digging up a bunch of tunes that were released across the Asia Pacific region last week.

Here is what hit our radars:

The Cards I Play- Rainbows
We never miss a TCIP release and this is no different. One of the OG bands of NNV, their brand new track pushes them into the stratosphere. A further evolution of what has become their signature sound, ‘Rainbows’ is the perfect marriage of nu metal and metalcore. In one breath we have Linkin Park inspired dual vocals and in the next, blistering breakdowns.

Tariot- Fleeting Time
Singapore metalcore is on fire currently and it’s only fair that one of the premier acts in the scene are amongst it. Hitting us with their new single ‘Fleeting Time’, their first release since January, Tariot have delivered a real mosh anthem. Flicking from two-stepping riffs to gritty moments where spin kicking is the only course of action, they round it out nicely with that classic clean singing metalcore chorus.

Engage In Vengeance- Dead Alive
Riffs on riffs on riffs, that’s what Engage In Vengeance from Jakarta consistently deliver and their latest single, ‘Dead Alive’ is no different. Giving us a real blend of modern and classic metal vibes, it’s good to see what the Indonesian heavyweights are offering in 2025.

Evilgloom- PRELVDE
The beauty of running a little late with this article is that we can include some hot off the press bangers. One of these is the new track from Japanese band Evilgloom. Mixed and mastered by Tsubasa from Paledusk, you already know how this is going to go. Giving us a real EDM/metal banger that this band does so well. Of course the video is also a delight, so check it out below.

Justice For The Damned- Stay Relentless
Another hot off the press short and fast banger, in a completely different font, Justice For The Damned are not slowing down. The new single ‘Stay Relentless’ is straight up in your face a beatdown anthem and after witnessing this song live, we are sure glad it’s available to be streamed on demand.

If your favourite release of the week isn’t listed, then keep an eye out for our album/EP reviews. And if you don’t see it there…

…it means we have missed it! So this is your sign to send to make sure we don’t!

Remember if your band is dropping music soon, let us know.
