We are going to sound like a broken record but it’s not out fault that the last few weeks has had absolute bangers dropping left, right and centre!

We have been scouring the internet to check out some of the new tracks from our incredible Asia Pacific metalcore and hardcore scenes have put out over the last week…

and we think we’ve got a few good ones to share.
Let’s get started.

Crazy Grizzly- ‘The Inevitable’ feat. CA-AH
Do you like melodic metalcore? Then you have to get around Malaysia’s Crazy Grizzly. A sneak peak into their upcoming album, their brand new single ‘The Inevitable’ is a modern metalcore marvel. Vocals shifting soulful cleans and ferocious growls, melodic riffs and a rhythm section that sets a groovy pace- it’s a stunning track. We can’t wait for the album.

Rebuild- ‘Buried’
If it’s real riffy metalcore that truly gets you going, then the latest track from Filipino band Rebuild might be up your alley. Only available at the moment on Spotify though, but well worth chasing up. No frills, no gimmicks- it’s straight up metalcore! Those guitars squeals scratch that itch in your brain like no other. Make sure you click the sick artwork by Fragments frontman (and NNV logo designer) Niko Cezar below to check it out.

Earthists- ‘SAYYOUKILL’
Japanese hypermetal extraordinaires Earthists are back with another epic single ‘SAYYOUKILL’. Sounding like its straight out of an anime, it is a punchy track that will have you both dancing and throwing your hip out with spin kicks. Mixed and mastered by the legendary Jeff Dunne, it’s exciting to see this band really following up their last EP with such a dope song.

Harroway- ‘Narsociety’
Have you checked out Aussie band Harroway yet? If not, this is a great intro. Taking a step up from previous releases, they’ve introduced a dual vocal element that has proven to be such a hit in the past and are doing it brilliantly. Going from just sick metalcore to absolutely epic, we can’t wait to see what else the band has up their sleeve!

Paralyzed- ‘Lullaby Effect’
We were a little late jumping on this one, but as they say, better late than never! This week seems to be the week for getting stuck into some melodic metalcore, much like the new one from Thai band Paralyzed. Channelling the modern soundscapes with a raw vocal expression, this new wave of Thai metalcore continues to stand strong.
