Normally we would bring you a weekly episode of NOISE ‘N’ VISUALS Radio on Thursday nights- but since we are out of commission for another week…

Let’s give you some New Noise instead.

July has been giving us absolute heaters…with many releases on the horizon. Let’s go through what we’ve had so far.

Terminal Sleep- ‘They Circle Below’
Only out a day but we are running up the numbers ridiculously. Melbourne’s Terminal Sleep may just been one of the best upcoming bands in the metallic hardcore scene. Celebrating their signing to Nuclear Blast Records with their new single ‘They Circle Below’, this song is one of their best so far.

Duskmana-‘Beyond A God, Below The Death Wish’
Personally, when metalcore has a nod to nu-metal elements, it is one of guilty pleasures. Normally they come in form of a rap-metal, Bizkit infused flavour, but the new one from Thai band Duskmana takes it in a different direction. A single that is Queen Of The Damned soundtrack meets breakdowns, it’s hypnotic, a little gothy and a great bop all round.

GREEN3YED- ‘THE BLAMELESS’
It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from GREEN3YED but it’s always a monumental occasion. One of the most celebrated voices in the Japanese metalcore scene, hearing Sota rip through this melodic track is something of beauty. It’s been too long between dances but we are just glad to be able to spin this.

JUSTICE FOR THE DAMNED- ‘Clawing Wounds’ feat. Taylor Barber (LEFT TO SUFFER)
Worst kept secret in the world is how much we love Justice For The Damned. We got a glimpse of this short, sharp and shiny banger back at their Narre Warren show with Make Them Suffer and it sounds just as good on the record. Tieing us over a little more for when their album drops next month, it’s everything you want from a Justice track with a little more sauce from the incredible Taylor Barber feature. Turn it up and try not to spin kick your TV.

CLOATH- HELLHEIM
Okay, this was technically released end of June- but they did not have it up on streaming sites till a little later so let’s finally talk about it. One of the acts from Indonesia that we can’t stop spinning, Cloath are back with another absolute ripper of a tune. Dabbling in various styles of metal in a package of core influences, these guys go hard and ‘Hellheim’ is no exception.

STARVE- ‘WRONG BODY’
The Aussie metallic hardcore scene is coming out SWINGING this month. Melbourne heavy hitters STARVE are back with their brand new heater of a single ‘Wrong Body’. The word to use to describe this track is TOUGH. It’s heavy, riffy and the breakdown is nasty.

Falling Asleep- ‘Haze
Let’s take it back to some post-hardcore. One of the tightest acts in the underground Japanese heavy music scene, Falling Asleep incorporate some pretty pop sensibilities into some fun technical post-hardcore that will have you dancing and headbanging at the same time. Their latest single ‘Haze’ is full of twists and turns.

DepriVation- ‘Mistakes Were Made’
This is another track that came out in June, but there is no way we could pass up this disgustingly thrash infused metalcore mayhem. The Aussie metal legends DepriVation have been setting the standard for years and well, they’ve done it again! Check out the new one ‘Mistakes Were Made’ to hear how it is done.
