This week has been STACKED for new music from the Asia Pacific.

We have already featured new music from so many Australian artists this week, but what else has been going out across region?

Jump in and find out!

Against The Gravity- ‘THEY CALLED US FOR THE SIGNS’
Thailand’s prog-metalcore wonders Against The Gravity are back with their brand new single ‘THEY CALLED US FOR THE SIGNS’. If you like riffs, djent and super vibey breakdowns, then this band is for you. We’ve covered this band before and with every release they just keep getting better and better!

INVERSION- ‘Pale Blue’
While Australia has been releasing some sickeningly heavy deathcore, South East Asia is giving us some more melodic numbers. Malaysia’s Inversion know how to make more technical sounds incredibly melodic, so this little number starts off extremely pretty before descending into an emotion-laden djent metalcore powerhouse.

CROOKED ROYALS- ‘Persona’
Now back to disgustingly heavy, Aotearoa’s (New Zealand’s) Crooked Royals are delivering a blistering track that is sure to tear any venue apart. Machine-gun like verses that cascade into a grand melodic chorus, this is further proof that the NZ scene is dynamite. Also the solo? Lovely.

Sekumpulan Orang Gila- ‘Memories’
You know we can’t go past a little post-hardcore action, so we are happy to refer back to Malaysia for this new one from Sekumpulan Orang Gila. It is everything you want in a post-hardcore track; raw emotion and catchy as hell.

D.E.M.A- ‘Life Time’
This is for your deathcore lovers and you slam kids. There is a very brutal slam scene hiding in Thailand, and D.E.M.A are proof of that. There is not much else to say but here is nasty as hell slam straight out of the land of smiles.

NABLA9- ‘Resurrection’
It’s never easy for a band to replace their vocalist, but Tokyo band NABLA9 have proven it can be done. The second single with new frontwoman Jojo, it is nothing short but a damn good listen. NABLA9 have a particular sound that combines that unqiuely J-metal vibe, with almost a fusion of classic metalcore and nu-metal. Safe to say, this is a banger.
