Blood Oath- ‘Gauze’
This much anticipated metallic hardcore release is the debut single for Aussie act Blood Oath. Absolutely ferocious, this short, sharp and shiny track goes straight for the jugular. Another band to join the roster of mayhem that is the Australian metallic hardcore scene, keep an eye on Blood Oath.

Life Awaits- ‘Paper Plane’ feat. Aaron Gillespie of Underoath
Not quite as gritty but just as impressive, Chinese metalcore act Life Awaits returns with their new single ‘Paper Plane’. A beautifully structured and mastered post-hardcore leaning song, it makes a great first introduction if you are yet to discover Life Awaits. Of course, we love the Aaron of Underoath feature too!

HAILROSE- ‘Rasen’
Look if there is anything we can expect from Japan, it’s not doing something standard. If you like bands like Paledusk, then nudigital hardcore band from Tokyo HAILROSE might be one to add to your playlist. Their new single ‘Rasen’ is wild, fun and aggressive. Get ready to add fist bumps in with your spin kicks.

Paledusk- ‘HUGs’
Speaking of Paledusk, the innovators of chaoscore have returned with the sonic experiment that is HUGs. The opening track for anime Gachiakuta, it’s a journey from start to finish. Hopefully this is just start of some new material from the band too, but time will tell.

AKIRA KURO- ‘The Undertow’ feat. PK of PROMPTS
We know idolcore isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but Thai idol metalcore band AKIRA KURO is a lot of fun. With a song named ‘The Undertow’ as well, you cannot deny the metalcore cred here. This fun little number also features PK from Japanese/Korean band PROMPTS, so it goes hard. Think DDR with breakdowns. We will be spinning it. A lot. That’s for sure.

Radikal- ‘Ingkar’
This week really is a mixed bag, because here is some numetalcore from Malaysia. This one got dropped into our inbox without much of a fuss and goddamn, does it go HARD. Don’t take our word for it, just listen.
