We have been over some new releases this week, but a few more bangers were dropped that we didn’t give coverage too…at least not yet.

Thailand has been leading the charge this week, but we will also visit Indonesia and Japan to give you some new tracks to add to your playlist.

Paper Planes- ‘ควัน  (Tearless)’ feat. NAP the NAP & เต๋า (Tao) Sweet Mullet
The recent wave of ‘Deftonescore’ that is sweeping the metalcore and post-hardcore world has also found it’s way into Thailand. Paper Planes have become quite a sensation recently in the country, and this collab with two other big names in the scene has caused quite a stir. It has a nostalgic, soft heavy feel that will transcend a lot of barriers, so don’t scroll past this one.

Right On Target- ‘Sovereign Of The Nile’
Some straight up hardcore coming out of Indonesia, Right On Target are delivering straight up riffs, aggression and breakdowns. This single is off their upcoming full-length release and we can’t wait to see more from this band. Just catch us two-stepping in the NNV office.

coldrain- ‘Chasing Shadows’
The masters of catchy as hell melodic metalcore are back again with a single that would be right at home as a soundtrack for an AMV. There is not much else to add other than it is pretty solid coldrain single, but what else do we expect from a band of this calibre?

Teresa- ‘Exiled From Eden’
We mentioned Thai acts have been killing it lately, and the latest is new one from deathcore extraordinaires Teresa. This band keeps going from strength to strength, delivering some brutal deathcore but keeping it fresh and leaning into the more extreme. If you like some riffs ala The Black Dahlia Murder style- then Teresa should be on your playlist.

Crystal Lake- ‘Crossing Nails’
It’s been awhile since we’ve heard some new material from one the Japanese metalcore mainstays, but finally, a taste of what is to come is here! They have gone to basics and dipped back into that classic Crystal Lake sound. It’s fast, heavy and catchy as hell. It will be spin kick central in the pit during the breakdowns and we can’t wait to check it out live.

Owl Town- ‘Guillotine’
The metalcore scene in Thailand is busy right now. It’s back to basics, restructuring and just dropping some straight up classic core bangers. This latest release from Owl Town shows that. The riffs are groovy, the choruses are melodic and the breakdown is raw as hell. What more could you want?

We love promoting new releases.
