From Aussie hardcore heavyweights, to bands experiencing a rebirth- this weeks New Noise has RANGE.
So let’s jump into it.
Meltgsnow- ‘Whispers‘
This band was a little worried they were no longer “core” enough for our list, but after seeing this absolute banger played live, we could not pass it up. The Thai/Singaporean band are back with a new vocalist and an updated sound and we think it shreds. What do you think?
Sable Hills- ‘Godforsaken’ feat. John Henry (Darkest Hour)
Speaking of shredding, the Tokyo riff lords are at again with this straight up classic metalcore banger. Start the circle pits and then get ready for the breakdown and mic grabs, because this track is the perfect follow-up of the bands 2024 album Odyssey.
Riverinks- ‘-Chaos Within‘
Indonesia continues to produce the goods, with Riverinks adding to the plethora of solid metalcore coming out of the country. ‘-Chaos Within’ starts with a little ambience before descending into…dare we say it…chaos.
Arcadia- ‘The Social Cancer’ feat. Vicky Mono (Deadsquad)
Fast and furious is the way Arcadia gets down and this new drop is no different! A potent, hard hitting but overall groovy release, ‘The Social Cancer’ is a great welcome back for the Filipino titans and we can’t wait to hear more from them.
50 Lions– ‘Heaven‘s Gates’ featuring Winston McCall (Parkway Drive)
Not only is the current batch of Aussie hardcore on fire, but we are entering a renaissance era as some of the OG’s are making their way back. The return of 50 Lions was not on our 2025 bingo card but we are so glad to have them! Calling in the brother Winston (who needs no real introduction) to add an extra layer to this already ripper track, it’s just time to start two-stepping everywhere from now on.
TheoJP- ‘THE(O)END’
It really is the week for catchy as hell riffs, as our favourite Tokyo based prog-metalcore act TheoJP drop their latest effort. The band have switched things up with a new vocalist and a sultrier-sound on this single. While there is still a little mystery publicly surrounding their new frontman, there is no doubt the track goes hard.
Harroway- ‘Run It’
Heading back to Australia now and we cannot help but dig everything that Harroway are doing as of late. Their vicious new single ‘Run It’ has come at the perfect time, as the band are about to head out on the road with deathcore heavyweights Paleface Swiss across the country. The aggressive, no-holds barred track is a warning shot for the scene, as they are not to be taken lightly.
So that’s a wrap on this weeks new noise, remember, if you want your music featured, make sure you get it to us!
Let us get your music out there.
