Australian melodic metalcore mainstays Bloom have just dropped a new album and to celebrate, they will be heading out onto the road with a huge headline tour. Joining them on this tour, much to the delight of many fans, will be AVOID (USA).
The tour will kick off in February, starting off in Brisbane and then they will trek through the Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Melbourne and Frankston, before concluding on Saturday 21 February in Adelaide.
Making waves across not just the Australian heavy scene, BLOOM emerged in 2017, introducing the world to their open-veined take on melodic hardcore. Justifying their hype with their 2024 debut full-length, Maybe In Another Life the band wasted no time with a follow up. Dropping their sophomore album on Halloween this year, The Light We Chase displayed even more of a mature sonic evolution.
Choosing to bring over AVOID for this tour is one that has gotten Aussie punters even more excited. The Seattle five-piece has no shortage of adjectives to describe their high-octane sound. Engaging, edgy, erratic, irreverent, wild, vibrant and fun- AVOID channel the insatiable sonic legacy of their home town into their own unique aesthetic, bringing passion, innovation and provocation back into heavy music, while also building a powerful community in the process.
