We’ve known for some time now that Suicide Silence were going to be heading to Bangkok to headline Rock Alarm Festival in February, but the deathcore legends won’t just be stopping in Thailand.
In what has been a bittersweet day for Asian Suicide Silence fans with guitarist Chris Garza announcing a hiatus from the band, their sadness will at least be lifted with this tour announcement.
Along with an appearance at Rock Alarm, the American deathcore pioneers will be stopping in Shanghai, Manila and Taipei, before finishing the tour in Tokyo.
No word on whether they will also be adding some Down Under dates to that list, but Aussie fans will be waiting with bated breath (don’t worry, we will keep you updated to).
Suicide Silence has been a driving force in the deathcore scene since 2002. With crushing breakdowns, face melting riffs and a reputation of absolute wild live shows, the Californian natives quickly became one of the most beloved bands in the genre. Due to the death of iconic vocalist Mitch Lucker and other life circumstances, the band has undergone some line-up changes but still remains one of the most notorious acts in the genre to date.
Don’t miss out on what is sure to be a hell of a show. Tickets through respective promoters.
