As we wrap up the year, we want to reflect on some of the amazing experiences NOISE ‘N’ VISUALS has been a part of. To finish up the year, we will be bringing you some listicles and some recaps of what has been happening in the Asia Pacific scene.

Today, we want to highlight some acts that we think are going to do some real big things (and not just claim it on social media) next year.

So let’s jump in.

The Cards I Play

Tokyo’s The Cards I Play are one of the most consistently growing acts we’ve been watching over the last five years. They have gone from classic metalcore to a hybrid blend of numetalcore, alternative rock and in your face hard rock (think if Linkin Park had breakdowns). The band have solidified their lineup, tapped into a signature sound that represents them fully and stepped up to the plate to take on any challenged thrown at them. The proof is in the pudding, as not only has their local fanbase grown exponentially, the international attention is starting to expand. All of this effort culminated in the release of their second album Diamond Avenue this year and we know this is just the start of another chapter of growth for The Cards I Play.

Against The Gravity

If you are into the more progressive/djent infused metalcore, then you must keep an eye on Myanmar’s Against The Gravity. Relocating to Thailand, they have been slowly becoming a staple act in Bangkok’s music scene. Melodic and stunning guitars, captivating soundscapes and polished production that goes beyond their years, Against The Gravity have completely captured our attention. Their single ‘Last Words’ has been on constant rotation since it’s release, so make sure you add it to your playlist.

Seek Misery

Ever see a band that absolutely knocks the wind out of you the second they start playing? That is what happens when you see South Australia’s Seek Misery live. Crushing deathcore that rips right through you to the cellular level, they may just be one of the most slept on acts in the Australian heavy music scene. The Adelaide act dropped an absolute scorcher of an album this year Everyone You Love Will Leave, truly solidifying them as heavyweights in the local scene.

Orca

The Manila metalcore mainstays Orca spent 2025 winning hearts over with their infectious riffs, unpredictable sound and humble but hilarious attitude to life. Their last single ‘OAD’ got some international attention, and for good reason. Slowly building some more momentum around the Asia region, this band has the ability to make the room shift and that was in full force when they opened for I See Stars in Bangkok this October. They are an act with big goals, beautiful hearts and talent oozing from every pore, so we think 2026 may just be the year they really break out.

District 105

If you have been following NOISE ‘N’ VISUALS, then you are no stranger to this band- but there is a reason. They really are just that good. Straight out of Saigon and ready to tear apart any stage, this band is constantly chasing innovation and bigger and better opportunities. This year alone they have dropped two EP’s (which make up a trilogy, with the third instalment to be released early 2026) and even made it over to Europe. With more attention than ever on District 105, we predict that the sky is the limit next year for one of Vietnam’s finest.

Fordecision

With Whispers travelling the globe introducing Hong Thai’s into the pit, the attention on the Thai hardcore scene is at an all-time high. One band making waves and playing some of the nastiest sets is Fordecision. An act that will have your body reacting before your brain can even register, they are holding down the fort for South East Asian hardcore splendidly.

Let’s be honest, this list could go on for days, but these are just some bands we think you should keep an eye on in 2026. Whether you are travelling to these regions or just want to expand your playlist, show them some love.

Also, let us know who you think is going to tear up 2026.
