Survive Said The Prophet and anime openings go together like butter on popcorn. Just when you thought they couldn’t do it any better, they’ve enlisted a dream to level up.

Teaming up with coldrain’s Masato and From First To Last’s Matt Good, the band has released ‘Speak Of The Devil’– the ending of the latest season of anime Fire Force.

The track opens with some of Survive Said The Prophet’s heaviest sequences. It quickly switches into that effortless melodic post-hardcore style they do so well. Frontman Yosh Morita is joined by Masato for high-class vocal displays. This is the coldrain singer’s second association with Fire Force, as the band previously delivered the infamous ‘Mayday’ opening.

‘Speak Of The Devil’ also follows in its metalcore footsteps. It rips back into heavy with a crushing breakdown before a quintessential Survive Said The Prophet style final chorus, once again proving why this band deserves every single bit of hype they get.

This soon-to-be anime classic is also co-written and produced by one of the legends of the emo scene, Matt Good of From First to Last, showcasing another fruitful collaboration between Morita and Good.
