There is only one thing you can expect from experimental Filipino metalcore act ORCA…you will never know where they are going to go next.

Dropping what works as a continuation from their previous single ‘OAD’, ‘WEAPONEYES’ takes the band into even newer territory with their sonic development.

Frontman Zoren flexes his rap skills with this numetal-infused classic metalcore banger. More than that though.

This song is deeply personal, exploring the internal battle between despair and resilience. It talks of making the choice to survive even when the grip feels like it’s slipping.

The song is about feeling overwhelmed by life and past mistakes while desperately trying to hold on hope,” shares the vocalist.

It centers on reaching for someone as a source of light and guidance while fearing their loss, the struggle to survive the darkness and keep the faith.

In true ORCA fashion, though, the band will always have fun and hit it out the park with their music video, so make sure you check it out below.

WEAPONEYES’ is available for streaming now.
