Review/Photos by EAKKYISDEAD (@eakkyisdead)

One of the hardest weekends on the Asia Pacific hardcore calendar, CONCRETE JUNGLE returned at the end of April with it’s most intense weekends yet. Even though NOISE ‘N’ VISUALS was not able to attend, we sent in EAKKYISDEAD from DIXKHEADLIVE to cover the show for us.

Much love to the Thai hardcore/metalcore community for contributing again to our publication. Enough chat from us, here is the breakdown.

CONCRETE JUNGLE 2026- Mr. Fox Livehouse, Bangkok, Thailand.

This is the 3rd annual edition of one of the biggest Hardcore music festivals in Southeast Asia. Located at Mr. Fox Live house, this venue is just like the Madison Square Garden of the Thai Hardcore scene.

There were tons of bands that we’ve been waiting for, such as:
Disgrace, New World Man, Invoke, Three Knee
Deep, Fury,
and Criminal Instinct. The almighty Forced Order and the great Soul Search straight out of California Hardcore.
And last but not least…Bangkok Evilcore” themselves: Whispers.

During these two days, everyone enjoyed themselves. They all demonstrated their own styles. When the bands played, they opened up the pit and turned this venue into a warzone. It wasn’t just about violence or hurting each other, but about showing love and respect. For the bands, you can do whatever you want. Wanna stage dive? Mosh pit? Two-step? Or singalong? Just do it, baby!

As for the Southeast Asian/East Asian bands, I’ve gotta give some love to every band. xHELLRAZORX, Defy, Tricks, Otus, Brave Out, Moneybag, SIFT and Wreckonize. Thai Hardcore veterans: Depressed 1279, Grimtooth and especially Born From Pain– straight from PKHC
(Pakkred Hardcore). Since 1998 until now, they are still standing hard.

And yeah, I can’t forget the bands from Australia:
XFOREWARNEDX (aka Melbourne Straight Edge) and The Chain from Last Ride Records. They represent Australian Hardcore- so energetic, no gimmicks, just pure energy.

Shout out to Blacklisted Productions, Loudly
Prefer
and Holding On Records for making this happen for this community.

See ya in the next pit!!!

Huge shout out once again to EAKKYISDEAD for the review and photos. Go show some love to him and DIXKHEADLIVE. If you need photos/media in Bangkok, Thailand- hit him up.
