We have been no strangers to the chika idol metal scene, and one band that has been on our radar is Thai act AKIRA KURØ. Founded in 2018, the Bangkok-based group has developed a highly distinct creative direction and a bold expression of identity.

With their own brand of metalcore and alt. rock stylings, AKIRA KURØ are taking a monumental step forward this month by being the first-ever Thai chika idol group to hold a full-scale solo concert abroad. Accompanied by their live backup band, they will be performing in Guangzhou, China on Friday the 10th of July.

Taking place at the iconic MAO Livehouse Guangzhou (广州中大店二号馆), this cross-border journey into China is titled the “UNBROKEN” One Man Live.

A show title that reflects the group’s unyielding spirit and their resilience against any obstacles faced throughout their career. They will also be joined by stage local opening acts, MaruZ and Rever, making this a chika idol show not to miss.
