Can you believe we are already in August? Well, there are some releases that dropped in July that we haven’t talked about yet- so if you missed them, time to add them to your playlist.

NABLA9- ZANSHO

Tokyo’s underground metal scene is full of hidden gems and one of them is the incredible NABLA9. We are very lucky we have been able to catch them on a few trips out to Tokyo, but this new single marks a new chapter for the band. With a steadied lineup and a fresh direction, make sure you check out their new single ‘Zansho’.

Cancer Game- BOULDERS ON THE HULL Pt.1

We are going to put you on to a whole new EP here. CANCER GAME from Macau may have dropped one of the releases of the year with this one. Solid metallic hardcore with some of the most interesting song writing in the genre. Straight up raw in moments and polished perfection in others, this one is definitely not one to skip.

H4VOK- Devourer(feat. CHON)

How about some slam for week? H4VOK, one of Vietnam’s newest acts has come out the gates with their debut single ‘Devourer’. The slamming death metal band from Saigon is ready to make a statement, full of that iconic slam aggression. Let’s hope they have a long future.

FORNICARAS– ‘Stompbomb’

We love Fornicaras over here, and that is why we are so happy to share their latest release ‘Stompbomb’. One of the gems in the growing Indonesian metalcore scene, Fornicaras are aggressive, heavy but also deliver those stunning melodies that metalcore does oh so well.

Heartline- Scarlet Threads (feat. Liam Guinane)

For some reason, it feels like there is not enough people talking about this drop. We got to witness this live the last time Windwaker played in Adelaide, and now it is finally in our grubby hands and it hits just as hard. Heartline maybe one of the most underrated bands in Australia, but hopefully this feature gets them the flowers they deserve. Absolute banger.
