Not many bands captured our attention from the jump the way Thrown has. With their previous Australian run selling out, the Swedish metalcore phenomenon have announced today they will be making their return down under in early 2027.

Thrown burnt a hole in our speakers upon debut, with the impressive single ‘grayout’. Since then, they have toured the globe with stars of genre, delivering shows that defy expectations for such a fresh band. They recently dropped a new single, ‘critic’, showing that they have more up their sleeve than just that first stellar album.

They are set to hit our shores in February; they will be joined by fast-rising metalcore giants Boundaries. Kicking off 2026 by introducing themselves to Australia on The Plot In You tour, it is no doubt their return is highly anticipated. Also joining the line up and making their Aussie debut is 156/Silence. Forboding, cinematic and hauntingly intense, the lads from Pittsburgh have garnered themselves quite the following.

Opening proceedings at all dates, besides Perth, are Aussie hard mosh deathcore aficionados Volatile Ways. From start to finish, this show is going to be an intense way to start the year.
