Froth & Fury might just be rivalling the Fringe Festival as the event that has everybody booking flights to Adelaide. The South Australia Festival grows to new heights every year and their second wave of band announcements has taken the cake.

Kentucky hardcore heavyweights KNOCKED LOOSE are set to headline the 2027 edition, which is music to many ears after their cancelled 2025 run. Joining them as per today’s announcement, are metal legends Deicide, hardcore punk mainstays TERROR, thrash icons Death Angel for a special ACT III set…and that’s just a few.

Unfortunately Wayside have had to pull out, but lucky there are plenty of bands that can fill up your timetable instead.

Over October, Froth & Fury are also running PATH TO FURY to select some local acts to also grace the stage. The Central Heat will take place this weekend on Saturday, the 3rd of October at The Gov. Saturday October 10th will take placed at Northern Sound System in Elizabeth before the Southern Heat out at Unit 3 Collective. Finals will take place on Saturday November 7th at The Gov, with the winners of the three heats battling it out for their spot at on this already insanely stacked lineup. The PATH TO FURY events are FREE, so come down and support some great local talent.

There is no wonder Adelaide is creating a wave of jealousy like no other. With this mixed-bag lineup that caters for the palette of heavy music listeners, January 30th 2027 is surely going to be another one for the books.
